Terry I am way behind. How many days? Probably 30 ish. 125 unread emails 1067 deleted unread emails. 54 years, 4 months since I first saw my version of your girl with the long hair. I know he’s still alive but his wife doesn’t fancy us renewing a friendship. I Always enjoy your writing!
LOL. Thanks, Jeanne. As it happens, I don't know if the girl with long hair is still alive. If she is, I doubt her husband would like us to renew our friendship.
Twice in the past couple of weeks I've stopped to take a photograph of a random number in the wild. Seems I'm not the only one. It hadn't yet occurred to me to write about such a thing, but gosh.......... *reaches for notebook*
Excellent idea, Rebecca. I have taken loads of pictures of numbers, although strangely I never seem to have the exactly right one with which to illustrate a post.
I ordered it from the USA through Amazon and it arrived yesterday. It's really interesting: every chapter is written in a completely different style/genre.
You're welcome, Carol. It was actually new to me as well. I came across an excerpt from it in a book on Oulipo that I've had for a few years and somehow missed that bit!

I like this approach for drawing. Thanks, Terry! Super interesting.
Thanks, Mary. I will be interested to see what you do 🙂
I’m going to try to find that book at my bookstore. Thanks for the recommendation
